Filming in Bel~Air

The City of Los Angeles is home to Hollywood and Hollywood is home to the entertainment industry.  On any given day, there are many film shoots which occur throughout the City and many properties in Bel-Air are desirable film locations.

If you would like to film in Bel-Air, you must obtain a film permit from Film L.A by calling 213-977-8600 or visit their website, www.eidc.com for more information.  There are special conditions when filming in Bel-Air.  These conditions are on file with the film permit office and also at the Bel-Air Association.

If you are a resident and are encountering problems due to filming in your neighborhood, you can contact the film permit office directly at 213-977-8600 and speak with Geoffrey Smith, Director of Community Relations.  If it is after normal business hours, call the film permit office and follow the instructions on their automated message center.

Although the entertainment industry is an important industry to Los Angeles, it is equally important we preserve the quality of life for all residents in Bel-Air.
